I’ve used Counselling Directory for years now, and it has been a great way to connect with people who were looking for support. But over time, things have shifted.
My practice has grown, my values evolved, and I have realised I wanted a more personal way of reaching the people I work with.
🌿 Finding Connection Outside the Listings
Therapy is such a personal experience. I’ve found that the best connections happen when someone finds me through a recommendation, a conversation, or even just spending time on my website. It feels more natural—less like scrolling through a catalogue, and more like starting a relationship.
🧭 More Freedom, More Honesty
By stepping away from the generic directories, I can speak more openly about how I work, what I offer, and what matters to me. I’m not boxed into a template or competing for attention—I can just be myself, and let you decide if I’m the right fit.
🔕 Less Noise, More Clarity
Although I am still listed on the autism specific directories. I know how overwhelming it can be to search for a therapist on the mainstream sites. Endless profiles, similar wording, and no real sense of who’s behind the screen. I want to make things simpler.
If you’re here, you’re already in the right place.
🛡️ Still Professional, Still Safe
Just to reassure you—I’m still fully qualified, insured, and DBS checked. I continue to work to the highest professional standards, and I’m committed to offering a safe, confidential space for anyone who walks through my (virtual or real) door.
🤝 Let’s Keep It Personal
This change is about trust. Trusting that the right people will find me, and that I can offer something meaningful without needing to be everywhere online.
If you’re curious, have questions, or just want to say hello—please do. I’d love to hear from you.
