About Me...

My journey into supporting neurodivergent individuals began in 2017, during my degree placement with a charity in Greater Manchester. What started as a learning opportunity quickly became a passion. I found myself drawn to the unique perspectives, strengths, and challenges of the autistic community—and I knew this was the path I wanted to follow.

After that, I took on the role of volunteer coordinator for another autism charity, while also working closely with university students navigating mental health challenges. These experiences deepened my understanding of how neurodivergence and mental health intersect, especially in academic environments.

In 2019, I joined Understanding Autism Northwest as a counsellor, where I remained until the charity sadly closed in 2024. Those years were incredibly formative—working alongside autistic clients, families, and professionals taught me more than any textbook ever could.

Interestingly, it wasn’t until 2021 that I received my own autism diagnosis. That moment brought a profound sense of clarity and connection to the work I’d been doing for years. It helped me see things through a new lens—both professionally and personally.

Today, I continue to support autistic clients through my private practice, drawing on years of experience across charities and clinical settings. I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals and presenting issues, and I approach each client with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for their lived experience.

I work with all genders and backgrounds from age 12 years upwards
